How many questions must be taken in the Neurology CME bank to obtain CME credit?
- 200 unique questions must be answered. The expectation for credit hours is that the questions are being taken and explanations reviewed to reach the credit hour equivalent.
How many hours is 200 unique questions equivalent to?
- 200 unique questions is equivalent to 50 credit hours.
What are the CME credits valid for?
- Physician Continuing Medical Education:
- The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
If I only take some of the questions, can I submit a portion of the credit hours?
- No. The credit hours are all or nothing, so 200 questions and 50 credit hours is the minimum.
Can I take the questions multiple times for additional credits?
- No. Credits can only be claimed one time per question bank.
What happens if I take questions more than once?
- The system will not allow you to submit for credit until 200 unique questions have been completed.
Can I take questions more than once if I would like to?
- Yes! You can repeat questions if you would like. However, you will only receive credit for unique questions taken and can only claim credit once per question bank for a maximum of 50 credit hours.
How many questions are in the question bank?
- There are a total of 220 unique questions available
How many times can I go through the question bank?
- You can take questions a total of 900 times.
How do I begin taking questions in the bank?
- To begin taking questions you will need to create a test. Please see our test guide for more information. You can create tests in increments of 1-100 questions at a time.
Does a test need to be taken in timed, untimed or tutor mode to receive credit?
- Any test mode is allowed for credit, but we suggest Tutor mode so that you are reviewing answers as you progress through the content.
Do I have to get a certain number of questions correct to receive credit?
- No, there is no performance threshold to receive credit.
The Submit CME Credit button is disabled, why?
- If the submit button is disabled you have not taken enough unique questions.
I forgot to submit for credit and my subscription has expired, what do I need to do?
- In order to obtain your CME/CE certificate, please follow the steps below at the conclusion of the activity:
- Go to www.cmeuniversity.com
- Login or Create a New Account (will take less than 1 minute)
- If you receive a message when creating a new account that “the email you entered is already in use”, please click the Forgot my Username or Password link to have your Username and Password sent to you via email
- After logging in, you may be asked to verify/update your information; after doing so, click Save at the bottom of the page
- Type in 18534 at the top of the page, “Find Post-Test/Evaluation by Course”, and click enter
- Click on the activity title when it appears
- Choose the type of credit you desire
- Complete the online assessment
- Receive an immediate CME/CE Certificate to download and/or print for your files
