Using the Back to Basics Course

The Back to Basics course is only available in digital format.  You can access the entire course from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Do I need to know everything in Back to Basics for the CPC Assessment?

  • No, you do not need to know everything in Back to Basics for the CPC Assessment.
  • We recommend that you focus on the Rapid Review sections. For additional learning, you can go through the In-Depth Review.
  • Each tutorial is divided into a series of lessons. Each lesson consists of four sections.
    • Pre-Lesson Question = Warm up with a practice question (this is not graded).
    • Rapid Review = Learn the “must-know” information in summarized list (best for CPCA review) 
    • In-Depth Review = Learn everything you need to know about the topic.
    • Practice = Reinforce what you learned in the lesson.
  • For additional practice questions, the Back to Basics course will also include access to eight 100-170 question Mock Exams in Study and Simulation Mode.
